Paint it black

Wer noch einen alten Röhrenmonitor hat, der kann jetzt Strom sparen und die Umwelt retten - indem er nicht mehr Google benutzt, sondern auf Blackle umsteigt. ZDnet hat nämlich herausgefunden, dass ein weißer Hintergrund mehr Strom verbraucht als ein schwarzer - und Google ist eben sehr hell und Blackle sehr dunkel.

Allerdings kommen die Tester auch zu dem Ergebnis, dass man noch Besseres tun könnte. Etwa einen LCD-Monitor kaufen.
